2026 Sale Instructions
Thank you for your past support of the Shelby County 4-H and FFA youth by purchasing livestock through the Shelby County Junior Fair Livestock Sale! We would like to welcome you back for the 2026 sale and have included important information below. Please be sure to read below as there have been some changes to the sale. Our in Person Auction and Add-ons will again be handled by Final Drive Youth Auctions.

Past Buyers: If you purchased at last year’s sale you will have a number assigned.
New Buyers: Please use the links listed below to register.
Final Drive Buyer Registration and Bidding Instructions
All buyers (new and existing) need to check in the day of the sale to get your number and collect your meal ticket.
*New this year for Meal Tickets: Be aware that each buyer number will be given ONE meal ticket this year. The said buyer must pick up and sign for their individual meal ticket outside of the sale office after receiving their sale numbers. Again, the said buyer MUST be present and pick up their own meal ticket.

This year, the auction will be conducted as a Premium Bid Sale. This is a change from how we have conducted the sale in the past. This means that during the auction, buyers will be bidding add-on (premium) dollars ONLY. You are not actually purchasing any animals. If you would like to purchase an animal, you must work with the exhibitor directly to arrange for that purchase and swap of the animal. No animals will exchange hands during the live auction itself.
Add-ons:
Add-on’s will be accepted from July 26, 2026 starting at Noon thru August 5, 2026 until noon.

Grand & Reserve Champion Buyers
The Grand & Reserve Champions MUST be slaughtered at a USDA approved plant which is Winners Meats. After slaughter, they will keep the beef carcasses. They send the rest of the carcasses to Davis Meats for processing.

If you do not have a season pass to the fair please visit our website to print complimentary passes for the sale day.
Payments
Buyers are able to make payments in a variety of ways. We accept cash, check, and credit cards. If you do wish to use a credit card for purchase, a 5% usage fee will be applied.

Invoices will be sent to buyers via email to the email address that you have provided when you registered to be a buyer. Please ensure your email is correct.
Buyers must pay within 24 Days of purchase. Please be prompt with your payment as we need your payment to be able to distribute checks to exhibitors.
Invoices not paid by August 19, 2026 will be charged a $50.00 per month late fee.
Exhibitors receive their checks once all buyer money is collected. Announcements will be made on a specific date.
